- How can I book a consultation?
- Simply telephone my office on 01527 577675 between 9am and 5pm or email on info@paullevick.co.uk and Gail, Julie or Lesley will be pleased to answer any of your queries. The initial consultation fee at the Priory Hospital is £100 and there is no charge forDolan Park or post-operative consultations. My consultation days are Monday and Tuesday at the Priory and Fridays at Dolan Park.
- How can I book surgery?
- Some patients ask to book for surgery at their consultation (don’t worry you will still have a ‘cooling off’ period and there will be no obligation or deposit to pay), but most wish to think about things and make sure that the family back-up is in place so they can rest and recover properly. My secretaries (who have all had surgery by me) are very knowledgeable about the recovery times you will need and will be able to advise you accordingly. If you are not sure about any of the consultation or would like to bring someone along for another chat just phone for another appointment (there is only the first consultation fee) because I would rather you are certain about everything before you book for surgery.
- How do I book my follow-up appointments?
- Follow-up consultations are unlimited. Simply phone my office on 01527 577675 on weekdays between 9 and 5.
- What about guarantees and further charges?
- You will be able to discuss the guarantees and possibilities of further charges with Gail at your consultation. Insurance policies for surgery may be available soon and I will post details as soon as we have more information. At present you will have a full warranty/guarantee for your surgery for 1 year; and after this hospital and possibly medical costs may be incurred. There are some exceptions, depending on the nature of the problem (for instance scars sometimes take more than 1 year to become unsatisfactory) but be assured we will do everything we can to ensure you have a first class result.
- How can I finance my surgery?
- The Priory Hospital can provide a BMI Card which gives 6 months interest free credit for healthcare purchases after which interest is charged at a current rate of 0.79% per month (typical APR 9.9% variable). Find out more from BMI Healthcare BMI Card (Google BMI Card)
- How and when do I pay?
- Gail will tell you about this at your consultation and she and the hospital will write to you with the details. The hospital will ask for guaranteed payment a week before surgery (to make things easier for the admission staff) but you can pay on the day if you wish.
